Treatment Advocates Release New Report on HIV Cure Research

The AIDS Policy Project, Foundation for AIDS Research (amFAR), Project Inform, and the Treatment Action Group (TAG) have produced a new report on HIV cure-related research, summarizing an April 2011 meeting that brought together scientists, regulatory officials, and advocates to discuss investigational approaches towards a cure for HIV/AIDS and how novel therapies can be tested in an ethical manner.alt

TAG Seeks Activists for AIDS Cure/HIV and Aging Advocacy

The Treatment Action Group (TAG) has issued a call for community activists interested in joining a new network advocating for increased support for research on HIV and aging and finding a cure. The initiative will kick off with congressional lobbying October 11-13. Travel scholarships are available, and the deadline to apply is September 2.alt
